Surviving in Siberia

On every GIS Day Data East traditionally invites interesting people, as this is a great chance to talk about geography and personal discoveries, to share travel experience, and to know about amazing hobbies.

This time, Data East met two scientists - Clementine Сolpaert from France and Christian Tantardini from Italy, who have been living in Novosibirsk for some years now and are studying for a PhD at Novosibirsk State University. They talked about the existing stereotypes about Russians, their favorite Russian dishes and shared their most vivid impressions of Siberia, and it was very funny for us Russians. After that some Data East’s employees also told about their travel experience and hobbies and there was a traditional GIS cake for everybody!
